Top 5 Parking Violations within the PID 6 Area:
All vehicles must be parked parallel and within eighteen (18) inches of the curb facing the correct direction of the flow of traffic.  No head-in parking is legal on any city street in the PID 6 area.

Vehicles cannot be parked closer than 15 feet to a fire hydrant; 30 feet of a stop sign; nor blocking a sidewalk, even the one that runs across your driveway,  so that it does not allow a pedestrian or person in a wheelchair for being able to use it.

Parking a vehicle that does not run on a public street.  Storing (Parking) a vehicle with expired license plates/inspection sticker on a public street.  Parking a vehicle on a public street for more than 5 days in a row without moving the vehicle to another location.

Parking so that your vehicle blocks another resident's driveway.

Parking any "commercial" (such as large box truck, 18-wheeler, etc) vehicle, boat or trailer that is over 7 feet wide or more than 20 feet long on a public street. Trailers are measured from the outside of the wheel wells and from the tougue of the trailer to the back end.  If you own a "16x6" trailer it would be to big to be parked on a street as those measurements are trailer bed dimensions.
Violations can result in vehicles being ticketed and/or towed at the owner's expense.  Fines can be up to $200.00 per violation. Towing and storage fees can be substantial.
